In honor of the Day of Russian Science, the qualifying stage of the All-Russian competition of scientific papers for the best author's research in the field of the financial market «Financial market instruments for the agro-industrial complex of the region» was held.

The competition is being held for the eleventh time and is aimed at promoting the activation of students' research activities, substantiating the directions of sustainable financial development of agricultural enterprises, and increasing students' interest in their chosen profession. The competition was first held in April 2015. During its existence, more than 300 students from 15 regions of Russia took part in it.

Students of Stavropol State Agrarian University and North Caucasus Federal University took part in the regional stage of the competition this year. The regional stage was conducted by teachers of the Department of Finance and Credit.
