As part of the strategic cooperation, students of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology visited the Stavropol Biofactory, organized by the General director of the enterprise Alexander Piltyai.
Stavropol Biofabrika is one of the largest manufacturers of veterinary vaccines in Russia. The company's assortment includes more than 20 names of drugs for the treatment of diseases of cattle, MRS, poultry and other animals, including vaccines against leptospirosis, avian influenza, carnivorous rabies, clostridiosis and animal pasteurellosis.
The participants of the practical lesson visited the clean rooms of the enterprise, where the equipment of leading domestic and foreign companies is used to ensure high quality of products. Under the guidance of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Nadezhda Ozheredova, the students studied the biotechnology of veterinary drugs and got acquainted with the peculiarities of using production equipment.
