An open lecture was held at the Institute of Agrobiology and Natural Resources with a specialist from the largest Russian company for the development and production of chemical plant protection products «August».

Vladislav Panchenko, Technology Manager of the August representative office in Stavropol, told the students about plant protection from harmful organisms in the farming systems of agricultural enterprises. Original, innovative drugs against weeds, pests and diseases were presented, scientific justification was given and the features of use in specific soil and climatic conditions of the Stavropol Territory were described. The students got acquainted with the specifics of the use of drugs, taking into account the biological characteristics of cultivated plants and harmful objects.
