Students of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology attended a field lesson on the basis of the Goat dairy complex «Nadezhdinsky».

During the lesson, students got acquainted with the requirements for ensuring the veterinary welfare of the herd. The basis of high productivity and health of dairy goats at the complex is the quality of feed components of the diet, the widespread use of vitamin and mineral premixes, proper rearing of young animals, timely implementation of the plan of preventive measures. The students were given a tour of the buildings for raising goats, a milking and dairy unit and a milk processing plant. The management of the complex «Nadezhdinsky» offered the participants of the class to undergo an industrial practice on the basis of the enterprise with subsequent employment.
