In connection with the 83rd anniversary of the liberation of Stavropol, the Agrarian University held a traditional «Lesson of courage» under the motto «We remember and honor the feat of the liberators of the city of Stavropol from the Nazi invaders.»

To participate in this event, its organizer, Chairman of the SSAU Veterans Council Guzynin N.G., invited Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans, Chairman of the Council of Elders under the Chairman of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory Karabut V.P. and retired Major General, Chairman of the regional branch of the All-Russian Movement in Support of the Army Belchenko V.M. He noted the involvement of the students present at the event, wherever they were born, in the beautiful and most precious thing for the heart of every student of Stavropol, as they now live and study in this second large native house, which our glorious defenders of the Fatherland liberated 83 years ago from fascist evil spirits, and thanks to which students and residents of Stavropol, as well if you think more broadly, this applies to all Russians, whose heroic descendants did not allow the fascists to enslave our country, have the opportunity to enjoy life and study, to work and create in the favorable conditions of our Great Motherland.

In his speech, A.P. Karabut interestingly and meaningfully revealed the great importance of the Battle for the Caucasus in the context of the Great Patriotic War, the courage and heroism of the soldiers of the 347th Infantry Division who liberated Stavropol from the Nazi occupiers and, using concrete examples, showed the feat of the liberating heroes of our city, forever imprinted in the names of 25 streets of Stavropol.

V.F. Belchenko made an emotional and pathetic speech to the student audience. He convincingly showed the importance of the patriotism of the Soviet people and the Red Army in the Great Victory over fascism during the war for the modern generation of Russians and especially for the youth.

A «Quiz» dedicated to the 83rd anniversary of the liberation of the city of Stavropol was offered with great interest to the listening student audience about the liberation of the city of Stavropol from the Nazi invaders. Some of the students provided comprehensive answers to her interesting questions.
