In total, 240 people will be trained this year according to the target programs of the SSAU — about 20% of the total number of budget places.

On behalf of the Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut, this year the Stavropol State Agrarian University increased the number of targeted contracts. Such contracts help to form a clear trajectory from education to employment. In addition, companies help students financially — they pay for a hostel or pay a scholarship. 

— The work in this part was carried out promptly and smoothly: we saw the interest from the customer — the business industry. I am sure that such a learning model will gain momentum. This has become especially relevant given the tasks set for the agro—industrial complex to multiply the volume of production and its exports,» said Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of the SSAU.
