The North Caucasus Federal University hosted the Russian Science Foundation School, which brought together researchers and grant experts to participate in an intensive professional program.
During the two-day program, with the participation of Andrey Blinov, Deputy Director General of the Russian Science Foundation, experts held lectures and practical seminars on grant granting mechanisms, application development, peer review procedures and successful project implementation. Stavropol State Agrarian University was represented by the winners of the Russian Science Foundation competition: Elena Sergeevna Kastarnova, who is implementing a project for a grant of 3.0 million rubles in 2026-2027, and Vladimir Valeryevich Samoylenko– for a grant of 14.0 million rubles in 2026-2028. The head of the department, Maria Vladimirovna Selivanova, Associate Professor of the Department, Elena Alekseevna Mironova, and Head of the Department of Scientific and Innovation Policy, Maria Valentinovna Alekseeva, also took part in the school.
The interactive format allowed participants to receive detailed consultations, deepen their understanding of reporting standards, and implement best practices in project management.
The Russian Science Foundation School has become an effective platform for sharing experiences, demonstrating achievements and creating new ideas. The acquired knowledge and skills will allow university scientists to implement scientific projects more effectively, strengthen their positions in the foundation's competitions and make a significant contribution to the development of Russian science.
