The rating agency RAEX (RAEKS) has released a subject rating of higher educational institutions in Russia. According to the results of an independent expert assessment, the Stavropol State Agrarian University took the third place in the direction of «agriculture».

When compiling the rating, the results in educational, scientific and social activities were taken into account. In particular, the RAEX expert group took into account the average USE scores of applicants, the number of winners and prize-winners of Olympiads for schoolchildren enrolled in the university, the number of employees with a scientific degree, the number of publications in leading scientific journals, staffing, funding, the share of students from other regions, as well as the activity of the university in social networks and the frequency of mentions in the media.

The analysis was based solely on objective indicators. Thus, when compiling the ratings, statistical data from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, bibliometric data providers, organizers of the «I am a professional» competition, media and social media monitoring and analysis systems, data on site traffic and data from Telegram and VKontakte social networks were used.

According to the results of the study, the Stavropol Agrarian University took 3rd place in the list of the best universities in Russia in the direction of «agriculture».

The main goal of the RAEX subject ranking is to help applicants in choosing a specialized university. This year, higher education institutions from 42 regions of Russia were among the best.
