With the participation of the head of the city Ivan Ulyanchenko, a meeting was held with the heads of schools in Stavropol.

Stavropol Agrarian University implements a number of educational activities with schoolchildren, including the projects «Agroclasses», and «The first profession of a schoolboy», and «Agricultural courses». Last academic year, the university's management held field meetings in all municipalities of the Stavropol Territory, which allowed to increase the admission figures by 7%.

40% of graduates of the Stavropol Territory enter the capital's universities, many of them are high—scoring students. The directions of solving this problem were discussed during the meeting. Special attention was paid to early career guidance, education of schoolchildren's interest in working in their small homeland and modern agriculture. Today Stavropol State University can offer high-level education with innovative approaches and prospects for further employment in leading companies of the region. 

— It is important for us to educate personnel with the participation of not only the university, but also the school, local government, and business. The Agrarian University is entering a new stage of development. It is important to communicate with everyone personally: both with the student and with the director. Only in an open dialogue is the truth born. We are all definitely moving towards the same goal — to ensure the prosperity of our native Stavropol, — said the rector of the SSAU Vladimir Sitnikov.
