Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted the educational game «Own game», organized as part of the All-Russian educational relay race «My Finances».

The Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory and the Department of Banking of the Stavropol State Agrarian University jointly prepared and conducted an intellectual game for students of secondary specialized educational institutions of a non-economic profile of the region. The event brought together ten teams from various colleges in Stavropol, including 3 college teams from the North Caucasus Federal University; 3 college teams from the Stavropol branch of Moscow Pedagogical State University; a team from the Stavropol College of Humanities; and a team from the Stavropol College of Communications.; the team of the Stavropol Regional College of Computing and Electronics; the team of the Stavropol Regional Multidisciplinary College, the college team of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The opening ceremony was attended by Nadezhda Gerasimenko, Regional Coordinator for Financial Literacy; Vitaly Koshelev, Chief Economist of the Stavropol Territory branch of the Central Bank of Russia; Ekaterina Musayeva, Head of Retail Sales at Rosselkhoznadzor; Evgeniya Grigorieva, representative of Sberbank; Yulia Gunko, Director of the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management in the Agro–Industrial Complex; Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics, Finance and management in the agro–industrial complex — Yulia Sklyarova

The game program included three rounds where participants had to demonstrate knowledge in the fields of personal finance, savings, insurance, loans, bank cards and taxation. Students solved problems and answered questions using logic, intelligence, and strategy to score maximum points.

According to the results of the intellectual competition:

• The winner is the Stavropol College of Communications team,

• The second place was taken by the team of Stavropol State Agrarian University,

• The team of Stavropol College of Humanities won the bronze medal.

Representatives of the Bank of Russia, Rosselkhoznadzor JSC and Sberbank PJSC highlighted the most active and erudite students, presenting them with special prizes and souvenirs.

Yulia Mikhailovna Sklyarova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management in Agriculture, emphasized the importance of such educational projects.: «Teenagers and young people are the future active consumers of financial services. Already today, we must teach them to be careful about personal funds, choose the right banking and insurance products, be able to defend their consumer rights, and understand the importance of creating a financial safety cushion.»

The organizers noted the high level of training of all the teams. The winners and prize-winners received diplomas, memorable gifts and letters of thanks for educational institutions.
