A solemn event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Nikolai Zakharovich Zlydnev was held at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology.
From a young age, Nikolai Zakharovich was interested in animal husbandry. Working as a milker on a farm, I decided to get a specialized education in the Stavropol State Agrarian University. After studying, he entered graduate school and began scientific activities in the field of animal science, in particular, he studied the Ayrshire breed of cows.
All teaching activities of Professor Zlydnev are connected with Stavropol Agrarian University. For more than 50 years of experience, he took part in a large number of exhibitions and conferences on animal husbandry, trained many generations of students and scientific personnel, who today form the flower of the agro-industrial complex.
The name of Nikolai Zakharovich is inscribed in golden letters not only in the history of the university, but also in the history of Russian education and science. The wide recognition in the scientific community is confirmed by the titles of «Honorary Worker of the agro-industrial complex of Russia», «Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation», «Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation», membership in the International Academy of Agrarian Education and numerous awards.
