The additives are based on biometals and a complex of amino acids. All components are toxicologically safe for introduction into production.

Intensive technological cycles at enterprises significantly increase the level of stress on the bird's body, which leads to a decrease in productivity and immunity. To minimize the negative effects on the body of birds, pharmacological agents are the most effective. The scientific staff of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, led by Olga Sevostyanova, proposed a special line of feed additives. The composition includes biometals: chromium, selenium, zinc and a complex of amino acids.

The use of additives in industrial production will allow controlling the metabolism of highly productive poultry of meat and egg production, unlocking its genetic potential and obtaining maximum productivity not through aggressive technologies, but through the use of nutrients.

The project «Technology of controlled metabolism: correction of thermal stress through the development and application of new feed additives based on biometals» was carried out at the expense of a grant from the Russian Science Foundation and is being implemented in the priority area for the region «Development of scientific and methodological foundations for the production and processing of crop and livestock products, improvement of technologies for obtaining high-quality agricultural raw materials in the Stavropol Territory».
