The Agrus publishing and printing complex of Stavropol State Agrarian University has published a textbook by Vladislav Porublev, Professor of the Department of Parasitology and Veterinary Medicine, Anatomy and Pathanatomy named after Professor S.N. Nikolsky, «Biology and Morphology of crocodiles», which has no analogues in Russia.

The textbook covers the biology and morphology of crocodiles. In an accessible form, the author of the publication provides a description of the taxonomy, habitats, nutrition and reproduction of crocodiles, and provides information about the importance of these animals in human life and activity. Morphological characteristics are given for each of the apparatuses and organ systems, indicating their structural features in the main families of living crocodiles.

The textbook is intended for students of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology studying in the specialty «Veterinary Medicine» with specialization «Diseases of small and exotic animals».
