An online competition of student research papers on financial literacy and financial security was held, organized by the Oryol State Agrarian University named after N.V. Parakhin.

The main objectives of the competition: 

● development of students' research work, increasing their creative activity during the period of study and preparation for independent research activities; 

● identification of the scientific potential of the participants; 

● transfer of the best practices of leading Russian universities in stimulating student activity of young researchers in the field of economic sciences; 

● integration of student scientific activity in the field of economics.

Students of the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management in the Agro-Industrial Complex became winners and prize-winners in a number of nominations:

— Natalia Biryukova (2nd year Master's student, Master's degree in Corporate and Public Finance) — 2nd place in the nomination «Best Scientific Justification»;

— Daria Gribanova (1st year Master's student, Master's degree in Corporate and Public Finance) — 1st place in the nomination «Best Research in the field of financial Risk management»;

— Milana Dzhasheeva (4th year student of the specialty, specialization «Economic and legal support of economic security») — 2nd place in the nomination «Tools for improving financial literacy»;

— Olga Lavtakova (2nd year Master's student, Master's degree in Corporate and Public Finance) — 2nd place in the nomination «Fundamental Scientific Research»;

— Ilya Nosov (2nd year Master's student, Master's degree in Corporate and Public Finance) — 1st place in the nomination «Financial Security of Small Businesses»;

— Diana Petrosyan (Kosovanova) (1st year Master's student, Master's Degree in Corporate and Public Finance) — 2nd place in the «Best Analytical Research» nomination;

— Sergey Smolnyakov (2nd year Master's student, Master's program «Digital Finance and Accounting Technologies») — 1st place in the nomination «Digital Transformations in Economics»;

Doctor of Economics, Professor Lyubov Agarkova, Head of the Department of Finance and Credit Irina Glotova and Associate Professors of the Department of Finance and Credit Elena Tomilina, Olga Uglitskikh, Yulia Sizon and Raisa Safiullayeva were awarded letters of appreciation for the high level of training of the winners.
