Angelina Poletaeva, a student of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, took part in the Stavropol championship and the regional hand-to-hand combat festival.

The festival was held at the Vostok Arena in Stavropol and brought together almost 1,000 athletes from all over the region. Among the participants are both beginners who are just gaining experience, and professional athletes.

Student Angelina Politaeva took the honorable second place in the age category of 18-21 years and weight — up to 58 kg. Prize-winners and winners have been selected for the NCFD championship, which will be held in Stavropol in December.
