The regional stage of the first aid championship was held at the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The organizers of the large-scale socially significant event were the regional branch of the Movement of the First and the Russian Red Cross.

The competition brought together 33 teams, which included schoolchildren, as well as students of colleges and higher educational institutions of the Stavropol Territory aged from 14 to 25 years. The participants had to demonstrate not only theoretical knowledge of emergency algorithms, but also the ability to apply them in practice in simulated emergency situations.

During the competitions, the teams promptly assessed the situation, determined the nature of injuries in the simulated victims, made coordinated decisions, and provided pre‑medical assistance. Experts and judges evaluated the accuracy of the medical procedures, the psychological resilience of the participants, the speed of their reactions, and the effectiveness of teamwork under stress.

In addition to the competitive tests, an extensive educational program was prepared for the participants. At interactive platforms and practical master classes led by experienced instructors from the Russian Red Cross, young people were able to further develop key skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, stopping bleeding, and applying immobilizing bandages.

«The ability to provide first aid in a timely and competent manner is a vital skill, on which a person’s life may depend in an extreme situation. It is fundamentally important that the younger generation, starting from school and university, does not feel lost in critical situations, knows clear action algorithms, and is ready to come to the rescue.» Holding competitions of this level at StГАУ contributes to fostering high levels of civic responsibility, self‑discipline, and a culture of safety among young people.
