On May 9, a Victory Day Parade was held on Lenin Square in Stavropol, dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory. Thousands of Stavropol residents gathered to honor the memory of the heroes and pay tribute to their feat. 230 SSAU students, together with participants in a special military operation, unfurled a grand Victory Banner on Lenin Square, the largest in Southern Russia, with an area of 1,500 square meters. More than 150 students performed in the «Victory Waltz». After the parade, a column of the «Immortal Regiment» marched through the central streets of the city: about 90,000 people came out with portraits of their relatives who participated in the Great Patriotic War. More than a thousand students and teachers of SSAU joined the column and carried through the city the memory of their heroes, flags and flowers, strengthening the living bond of generations.
