A guest lecture «Young Entrepreneurship» was held at the Faculty of Accounting and Finance with the participation of young and promising representatives of the business community of the Stavropol Territory.

During the meeting, young businessmen shared their own success stories with SSAU students. In particular, entrepreneurs talked about choosing a niche and segmenting the market, ways to effectively combine business and study, as well as overcoming difficulties. The speakers paid special attention to the use of all available opportunities that are encountered on the path of life.

So, the head of the courier service, Ilya Shuravin, in his second year, decided to say «yes» to incoming opportunities and challenges. The result of this decision was 12 «timely» noticed accidents that led to success. For example, a random ad for a driving school motivated him to enroll in a driving course. Timely received automobile rights allowed the young man to become one of the owners of a company car. And a phone call received late at night from an unfamiliar number introduced him to a key person on his career path. Now in Ilya's own structure there are already 150 partners.

— Holding meetings with successful entrepreneurs has become a long tradition at the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, in the future we will invite entrepreneurs with a large multi-turn business, who have already gone their way in this area, have extensive experience, to share the skills necessary for successful management business, ” said Irina Glotova, head of the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance.

The initiators of the meeting were the teachers of the department «Finance, credit and insurance business» together with the financial consultant of the partner insurance company SSAU «Sovcombank Life» Lyubov Stetsyuk.
