As part of the professional competence development program for University staff, a practice-oriented seminar on «Burnout prevention» was held on January 29, 2026. The participants were teachers and staff of departments.
In two intense hours, the participants gained knowledge and practical tools to combat burnout syndrome, which is an urgent problem for a modern specialist of any profile.
The speaker, Svetlana Stepanovna Garashchuk, Ph.D., psychologist, clinical psychologist, coach, EMDR practitioner, head of the psychological service of the University, introduced the audience to the causes of emotional burnout, symptoms, stages and mechanisms of formation of spirals of rising and falling vitality.
Special attention was paid to the formation of an individual approach to maintaining psycho-emotional balance and restoring the internal resources of the body. Self-analysis techniques have been proposed to detect the first signs of stress in a timely manner and prevent the occurrence of chronic fatigue.
