The delegation of Stavropol State Agrarian University headed by the rector paid a working visit to the Belarusian State Association for Livestock Breeding «Belzhivplem».

Last autumn, scientists from the Stavropol Territory visited Belarus. Governor Vladimir Vladimirov set tasks for joint work, including in the field of agriculture. 

During the visit, the staff of the StGAU visited the breeding and breeding center and the dairy laboratory of the RUSP «Minsk Plant Enterprise», where the processes of animal identification, genomic assessment and phenotype assessment were launched.

— We have a problem of the lack of a parent herd in both dairy and beef cattle breeding. And today we looked at a unique system for preserving the genetic potential of livestock and exporting bovine seed. We will definitely implement the best practices in our Stavropol region,» said Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of the StGAU.
