The 90th scientific and practical conference «Agricultural Science for the North Caucasus Federal District» was held at the Institute of Secondary Vocational Education of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The conference included a discussion and review of the research results obtained over the past year, as well as a discussion of the importance of scientific discoveries and achievements for the development of the modern agro-industrial complex.

Relevant reports were made by:

 Nina Huseynova, Junior Researcher at the VNIIOK branch of the North Caucasus Federal National Research University, report on «Prospects for the use of feed additives in the rearing of young sheep»

 Elena Deeva, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, lecturer at ISPO, spoke about the «number of microorganisms in winter wheat crops using No-till technology»

 Vladimir Odnoprienko, post-graduate student and laboratory researcher at the Department of Machinery and Technologies of the Agroindustrial Complex, project «Universal tank for processing and preparation of liquid food products»

 Victoria Solomonova, a lecturer at ISPO, discussed the topic «Chemicalization as a key factor in the development of the agro-industrial complex of Stavropol: achievements and prospects»

 Ekaterina Sokolova, a lecturer at ISPO, presented the report «Hepcidin: a new approach to the treatment of iron deficiency anemia.»

Nadezhda Lebedeva, a researcher at the Laboratory of Sorghum Breeding and Primary Seed Production at the North Caucasus Federal Research Center, spoke about «Alfalfa pests in the Central Caucasus.»
