A conference of the Stavropol City Veteran Organization was held on the basis of Stavropol State Agrarian University. 

The event was attended by the head of Stavropol Ivan Ulyanchenko, members of the Stavropol City Council of Veterans, Chairmen of the Councils of Veterans of regional and primary veteran organizations and the veteran's active of the city. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War were also present at the plenum. 

During the conference, Chairman of the City Council of Veterans Igor Fataliev reported on the results of the activities of the Stavropol City Veterans Organization for 2023. The report noted the special importance of patriotic education among schoolchildren and students and significant organizational assistance to the city Council of Veterans from the Council of Veterans of the SSAU. In particular, in his speech, Igor Fataliev pointed out that the number of participants in the Great Patriotic War in Stavropol is irreversibly decreasing: out of more than twenty thousand soldiers who returned from the war, today there are only 39 defenders of the Fatherland. And in the Leninsky district, only 8 participants of this war are alive.

    Also at the conference, new members were introduced to the Stavropol City Council of Veterans, among whom is the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the StGAU Nikolai Guzynin, who was also awarded a Letter of Thanks from the Chairman of the Stavropol City Council of Veterans for his work.
