A single Open Day of the Institute of Secondary Vocational Education was held at Stavropol State Agrarian University. More than a thousand students of grades 8-9, their parents and teachers from 12 districts of Stavropol Region became its participants. The event was attended by distinguished guests: Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of SSAU, Konstantin Ishkov, Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, Maria Smagina, Minister of Education of the Stavropol Territory, Sergey Nabokov, Hero of Russia, and representatives of partner enterprises — Solnechny Dar LLC, Energomer Agroholding JSC, ASB Agroholding, Toolhand IT Company

The event is aimed at introducing applicants to modern educational programs of the federal project «Professionalism», which provide the formation of practical skills and assistance in the employment of graduates.

As part of the event, a parent-teacher meeting is planned, where participants will be able to learn about the possibilities of supporting a child in choosing a profession and the prospects offered by participation in the Professionalism project. Guided tours of the university campus are organized for guests, including visits to classrooms, laboratories and workshops. The participants got acquainted with the material and technical base of the institute, including workshops on the competencies of «Agronomy», «Veterinary Medicine»
