On April 18, Stavropol State Agrarian University will host a Single Open Day of the Institute of Secondary Vocational Education.
The event is aimed at introducing applicants to modern educational programs of the federal project «Professionalism», which provide the formation of practical skills and assistance in the employment of graduates.
As part of the event, a parent-teacher meeting is planned, where participants will be able to learn about the possibilities of supporting a child in choosing a profession and the prospects offered by participation in the Professionalism project. Guided tours of the university campus will be organized for the guests, including visits to classrooms, laboratories and workshops. Participants will be able to get acquainted with the material and technical base of the institute, including workshops on the competencies «Agronomy», «Veterinary Medicine» and «Operation of agricultural machinery», the laboratory of botany and plant physiology and technology for processing and reproducing soil fertility, the laboratory of technology for the production of crop products, the laboratory for testing and diagnostics of engines, the laboratory of harvesting machines, laboratory of equipment and machinery of livestock farms, laboratory of surgical skills development, research laboratory, laboratory for the diagnosis of animal diseases and veterinary and sanitary examination of animal products, as well as laboratory for non-invasive methods of diagnosis and therapy of animals.
In addition to the excursion program, master classes and professional tests are provided for visitors, allowing them to gain initial experience in various areas of training and decide on the choice of a future specialty.
The event is held to raise awareness among applicants and their parents about the possibilities of obtaining secondary vocational education at Stavropol State Agrarian University.
