The results of the V International Student Research Competition «History, modernity and prospects of Accounting Science» in memory of Professor Viktor Arkadyevich Pipko have become known. StGAU students took 44 prizes.

The competition is held in order to popularize research activities among students, reveal creative abilities and increase students' interest in their chosen profession. The organizers were teachers of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University, K.A. Timiryazev Moscow State Agricultural Academy, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Voronezh State University, Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov and Grodno GAU.

Students from 15 universities took part. They work in the following categories: management accounting and controlling, budget accounting, financial accounting (by industry), tax accounting, reporting in the organization's management system, current trends in the development of IFRS, accounting and analytical support for foreign economic activity, ethics of the accounting and analytical profession. Students of Stavropol State University took 5 first places, 7 second, 7 third, and 25 became laureates.
