Since February of this year, experts from the Stavropol State Agrarian University have conducted a comprehensive assessment of the competencies of employees of the Rusagro agricultural holding according to the developed methodology.
Based on the analysis of internal documents, university scientists have developed a matrix of competencies of the agronomic service to be further evaluated. Employee testing was proposed, and the next stage was the development of case studies and interview questions on technological operations.
During the final stage, StGAU experts assessed the competencies of about 137 Rusagro specialists in three competencies: soil tillage system, harvesting of agricultural crops, phytosanitary monitoring for pests, and disease treatment in the company's key fields in the Belgorod, Orel, and Tambov regions. At the moment, experts are forming a final report.
— It is important that now human resources work in the agricultural sector is one of the priorities, and a person is called the highest value, the emphasis on the development of which has been and will be done in the first place. I am glad that our university has all the necessary resources to help strategic partners and businesses improve the competencies of employees and, of course, form a personnel reserve,» said Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of StGAU.
