The regional stage of the Zarnitsa 2.0 game has been completed on the basis of the Mashuk youth multifunctional patriotic Center.
«Zarnitsa 2.0» is the reincarnation of a military-patriotic game that was popular in the pioneer camps of the USSR. The modern version of the game differs in that it is no longer an imitation of the confrontation of two armies in the open air, but contests and quizzes. Players in «Zarnitsa 2.0» team up in squads of 10 people with clearly defined roles, answer questions about military history, find out who has better physical fitness and who has better command of various skills. Key disciplines include the paramilitary relay race, combat training, tactical medicine, fire training, survival in extreme conditions, as well as competitions for commanders, stormtroopers, political officers, military officers and UAV operators.
33 teams from the municipalities of the region took part. The Stavropol State Agrarian University team adequately represented the university, winning five prizes:
1st place — intellectual quiz;
1st place — stormtrooper competition, Roman Tutunin and Alexander Bashunov;
2nd place — squad competition «Fire training»;
3rd place — Tactical Medicine squad competition;
