The championship «Gastronomic souvenir» was held at Stavropol State Agrarian University. 

Within the framework of the event, students of the Faculty of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism developed gastronomic souvenirs for positioning the Stavropol Territory in the market of Russian and international tourism. 

In total, 62 students of the faculty took part in the Championship, who formed 5 teams working in different directions. At the same time, each team was assigned a mentor from among the teachers. Experts from the Stavropol administration, a travel agency and a large family restaurant were involved as members of the jury. 

According to the results of the expert assessment, the first place was taken by the development of a souvenir «Stavropol marmalade», emphasizing the tastes of products that the districts of the Stavropol Territory are famous for.

 — The work on the creation of gastronomic souvenirs allowed students to be smart and offer their vision in positioning the Stavropol Territory in the markets of gastronomic tourism. The event also made it possible to strengthen teamwork skills and competencies in project activities,» said Anna Ivolga, Dean of the Faculty of Socio—Cultural Services and Tourism.
