The Stavropol Weightlifting Cup in memory of Federation President A.V. Korobeynikov was held in Solnechnodolsk for the sixth time.

The competition brought together more than 60 athletes from Nevinnomyssk, Budennovsk, Novoalexandrovsk, Stavropol and other municipalities of the region. Athletes of Stavropol State University won five prizes at once. Vsevolod Petrishchev took gold in the 67 kg category with a result of 193 kg. Maxim Bushuev became the first in the 89 kg weight class with a result of 266 kg. Azamat Makiev took the first place in the 102 kg weight category with a result of 295 kg. Chermen Magkiev took bronze in the 109 kg weight class with a score of 274 kg. And in the team competition, Ssau students took the honorable third place.
