Two students of the Institute of Secondary Vocational Education won prizes at the All-Russian championship «Professionals».

Students have been studying for six months at the center for youth innovative creativity Fablab «Vector», created on the basis of StGAU. The center is equipped with modern equipment for digital production: printers, 3D scanners, laser equipment, lathes and milling machines, which successfully train schoolchildren and students of Stavropol and the region.

The acquired knowledge and skills allowed Oleg Matveenko, a student of the Institute of Vocational Education and Training, to win first place in the Final championship of professional skills in the competence «Manufacturing of individual implants». And Vsevolod Petrishchev, fought for passage to the finals of the championship in the competence «Prototype manufacturing (additive manufacturing)» in Surgut. He became the second among rivals from 19 regions of the country.

— Of course, the success of the guys is based on the great work of their coaches and mentors — teachers of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, leading engineers of CMIT Fablab «VECTOR».
