For students of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, a field lesson was held on the basis of the industrial partner of the SSAU — SEC «Breeding Plant Second Five-year Plan» of the Ipatov city district.

The chairman of the collective farm Igor Serdyukov told about the breeds of animals bred at the enterprise and invited students to practice with subsequent employment. After the meeting with the head, the participants of the lesson also went to Koshara to participate in a master class on the organization of artificial insemination of sheep from graduates of the SSAU — the chief zootechnician of the farm Mukhtar Idrisov and the zootechnician—breeder Dmitry Zlenko. Students learned how to evaluate the quality of biological material of sheep-producers of the breeds «Dzhalginsky merino» and «Russian meat merino».
