The Xl Winter Universiade of universities subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has ended in Izhevsk. Ssau athletes took the entire arm wrestling podium. 

The forces were measured by 207 athletes from 18 cities of Russia. 

• Ruslan Dzhanibekov, a 1st year student at the Institute of Agrobiology and Natural Resources, took 3rd place in the weight category up to 85 kg.

• Ruslan Medzhidov, a 1st year student at the Institute of Agrobiology and Natural Resources, took 2nd place in the weight category up to 70 kg.

• 1st place in the weight category up to 100 kg was taken by Mikhail Akinin, a 1st year undergraduate student at the Faculty of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism.

Denis Uvarov, a student of the Faculty of Economics, also worthily presented the national team of Stavropol State Agrarian University. During the fight, he scored the same number of points as the bronze medalist in the weight category up to 60 kg, but took 4th place only because of his slightly larger own weight.
