Students and postgraduates of Stavropol State Agrarian University successfully performed at the III stage of the All-Russian competition for the best scientific work among students, postgraduates and young scientists of agricultural universities in Russia. The competition was held at the Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after K.I. Scriabin. In the Veterinary Medicine nomination, 29 students and 27 graduate students from eight federal districts competed for the victory.

SSAU results:

2nd place — Alexander Sotnikov (PhD student). Topic of the report: «Improvement of diagnostic and therapeutic methods for dogs and cats with spinal cord compression injuries» (scientific supervisor — Vladimir Alexandrovich Orobets, Stavropol State Agrarian University).

3rd place — Oleg Krutik (student). Topic of the report: «Development of a scientifically based protocol for the treatment of calves with diarrhea based on a comparative assessment of the effectiveness of pharmacological regimens.»

9th place — Dmitry Bessarabov (student). Topic of the report: «Dynamics of pathomorphological changes in the intestines of broiler chickens with varying degrees of invasion of Eimeria spp.»

This achievement testifies to the high level of training of young researchers and the effectiveness of SSAU's research activities.
