The Stavropol State Agrarian University has completed the international conference «Innovations in Sustainable Agriculture 4.0». The event was held for the third time and was organized by SSAU together with Samarkand State University named after Sh. Rashidova (Republic of Uzbekistan).

The distinctive feature of the event was its exclusively English-language format, which confirmed its high status as a platform for international academic communication. The conference focused on current practices and scientific developments of the world's leading agricultural powers.

The conference participants discussed a wide range of issues, including:

· Government digitalization of wheat production in China;

· Intelligent systems for diagnosing plant diseases using the example of Syria;

· Implementation of sustainable supply chain technologies in Indonesia;

· The current state of grain trade between Turkey, Russia and the post-Soviet countries;

· Strategies for bioeconomics and sustainable agriculture in Russian regions.

The organizers paid special attention to the quality of scientific materials. The articles were strictly selected by the editorial committee, which included scientists from Stavropol State Agrarian University and Samarkand State University named after Sh. Rashidov, as well as the College of Agronomy at Northwestern State University (China).

Following the results of the conference, the selected scientific papers will be published in a series of books by the international publishing house Springer Nature, indexed in the Scopus scientometric database, which guarantees the recognition of scientific results at the global level.

The conference «Innovations in Sustainable Agriculture 4.0» once again confirmed the status of Stavropol State Agrarian University as an international center of attraction for advanced scientific thought in the field of digitalization and sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex.
