Stavropol State Agrarian University has taken the highest positions among educational institutions of the North Caucasus Federal District in the annual ranking of the hundred best universities in Russia. 

The RAEX rating agency (RAEX-Analytics) has published a new annual rating of one hundred best Russian universities «RAEX-100». In 2024, it included higher education institutions from 29 regions of Russia. 

Stavropol State Agrarian University was able to strengthen its position, rising from 56th to 52nd place in a year. Such indicators make StGAU the leader among higher educational institutions of the North Caucasus Federal District. The other universities of the North Caucasus Federal District included in the rating (NCFU and Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov) ranked 68th and 99th, respectively. 

— Despite the serious competition, we managed to show good dynamics again. This result is a direct confirmation that we are on the right path of development, transforming educational processes and programs in accordance with the demands of the economy and the tasks set by the federal center and Governor Vladimir Vladimirov,» commented Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of the SSAU.

When compiling the rating, experts took into account the opinions of employers, representatives of business, science, as well as graduates and students. In addition, statistical data were used.
