The delegation of the StGAU visited the horticultural farm of the researcher of the Stavropol Experimental Station for Horticulture (a branch of the North Caucasus Federal Scientific Agrarian Center), honorary worker of the agro-industrial Complex of the Stavropol Territory, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Fedor Apolokhov.

The delegation included Dean of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Esaulko, Director of the experimental farm of the SSAU, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Alexander Voskoboinikova and Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Timur Aisanov. During the visit to the farm, the scientists got acquainted with the stable varieties of seed and stone fruit crops. Fedor Apolokhov shared his experience of using exclusively agrotechnical and biological methods of protecting fruit plantations and expressed readiness to conduct joint research and experimental work in this area with the staff of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The working visit was held within the framework of the direction «Biologization of agriculture in the North Caucasus Federal District based on innovations (agrobiotechnology, digitalization, selection)» of the Smartagrobiotech-2030 project implemented by Stavropol State University in the strategic academic leadership program «Priority 2030».
