The rating agency RAEX (RAEX) has released a subject rating of higher education institutions in Russia. According to the results of an independent expert assessment, Stavropol State Agrarian University took the third place in the field of Agriculture.

The main purpose of the RAEX subject rating is to help applicants in choosing a specialized university. This year, higher education institutions from 42 regions of Russia were among the best.

When compiling the rating, the results in educational, scientific and social activities were taken into account. In particular, the RAEX expert group took into account the average USE scores of applicants, the number of winners and prize-winners of school Olympiads enrolled at the university, the number of employees with a scientific degree, the number of publications in leading scientific publications, staffing levels, the amount of funding, the proportion of students from other regions, as well as the activity of the university in social networks and the frequency of mentions in the media.

The analysis was based solely on objective indicators. Thus, when compiling the ratings, statistical data from the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, bibliometric data providers, organizers of the «I am a Professional» competitions, monitoring and analysis systems for mass media and social media, website traffic data, and data from the Telegram and VKontakte social networks were used.

According to the results of the study, Stavropol Agrarian University took the 3rd place in the list of the best universities in Russia in the field of Agriculture.
