At the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction, classes on vocational guidance for schoolchildren have begun.
Classes in specialized disciplines are held both at school and at the university department. Together with assistant Olga Zvereva, students consider using the latest eco-innovations to meet the needs of society without harming the environment. Classes are aimed at developing thinking that allows you not to passively consume information, but to critically and creatively process it, have your own opinion and be able to defend it in any situation. The issues of traditional eco-innovations were touched upon: environmental technologies covering land reclamation, solid waste disposal, water purification and air quality preservation. The students also discussed the topic of green technologies and their applications, in particular, environmental chemistry, continuous monitoring of the natural environment, planning and conservation of resources.
During the lesson with Valeria Chebotaeva's assistant, high school students got acquainted with the specifics of floral activity as a kind of decorative and applied art and design. We learned about the history of flower arrangement in floristry, and also mastered the basic principles of arrangement, which are leading from a professional perspective. During the practical part of the lesson, students collected table flower arrangements for the presidium of the scientific conference.
