This year, our outstanding graduate, Chairman of the Stavropol Territory Duma Nikolai Timofeevich Velikdan, celebrated his 70th birthday.

Nikolai Timofeevich's life path is inextricably linked with the development of agriculture, an industry that is the basis for the well—being of Stavropol. His biography confirms that knowledge, hard work and dedication to the profession open up wide opportunities and bring decent results.

For his long—term contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region and active support of agricultural education, Nikolai Timofeevich was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of Stavropol State Agrarian University — the fiftieth in the history of the university.
