On August 1, 2024, the acceptance of documents for participation in the competitive selection for training in the Farmer's School project under the additional professional retraining program «Farmer's School: organization and functioning of peasant (farm) farms» with a volume of 328 hours started.
Classes will be held from September 19 to December 20, 2024 on the basis of Stavropol State Agrarian University (StGAU) with the support of JSC Russian Agricultural Bank.
Students of the «Farmer's School» can be trained in one of three areas of training. In the field of animal husbandry — in the field of dairy cattle breeding. In the field of crop production — in the areas of horticulture (specialization intensive (super intensive) type gardens) and greenhouse farming (production of products in closed ground).
Members and heads of peasant (farm) farms registered in the Stavropol Territory, individual entrepreneurs working in the agricultural sector, as well as citizens running a private subsidiary farm are allowed to participate in the competition. Those who wish to study must have a higher or secondary vocational education. The enrollment of citizens of the Russian Federation who have completed military service in the zone of a special military operation (demobilized and commissioned participants in military operations, participants in combat operations) is carried out outside of competitive selection.
