The scientific team of the Department of Horticulture and Processing of Plant raw materials named after Professor N.M. Kurenny, represented by Romanenko Elena Semenovna, Aisanov Timur Soltanovich, Novak Maria Sergeevna, Mironova Elena Alekseevna and Esaulko Natalia Alexandrovna, became the winner of the Prince Lev Golitsyn Prize in 2025. 

The staff of the SSAU received the award «For their contribution to Russian winemaking» with the monograph «Microzones of grape cultivation in the territory of the wine-growing zone of Stavropol» in the nomination «For the best essay on viticulture and winemaking» and 1 million rubles. 

The Russian Wine Forum is the largest annual wine event in Russia, which brings together all market participants on one platform: producers, experts, consumers, investors, regulators and distributors. The Forum has become a platform for discussing strategies and scenarios for the development of the Russian wine market in the changing conditions of state regulation and state support of the wine industry.  

The award was presented by Dmitry Konstantinovich Kiselyov, Chairman of the Expert Council. The award is awarded for outstanding services to the wine industry. It was established by the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia and the Roscongress Foundation, an expert community with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation to develop the potential of Russian winemaking and viticulture, stimulate the growth of the wine industry and encourage industry leaders and specialists.
