The leadership of Stavropol State Agrarian University is taking part in an educational program for the winners of the All—Russian competition «Leaders of the Agroindustrial Complex», which started in the Senezh Management Workshop of the Russia — Land of Opportunities platform. Participation in the program enhances the university's contribution to the formation of management solutions for the agro-industrial complex and the development of human resources in the industry.
Among the mentors of the program is Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of SSAU, who participates in the formation of a strategic vision for the development of the agro—industrial complex and accompanies the participants. The 54 students included Vladimir Avakian, Deputy Vice-Rector for Research and Strategic Development, who is undergoing in-depth training and individual support throughout the year. The program brings together representatives of agribusiness, science, and government and focuses on developing solutions to key challenges, from digitalization and export strategies to staffing. For SSAU, as one of the leaders of agricultural education in the country, this is the continuation of systematic work on the integration of science, education and practice aimed at the technological renewal of agriculture and sustainable development of the regions.
As part of the educational modules and subsequent annual support, participants, together with mentors, work out practical cases with subsequent implementation at the regional and enterprise levels, including the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Stavropol Territory. As a result of the program, it is expected to launch joint projects, strengthen partnerships with agribusiness and government authorities, as well as expand the university's practice-oriented educational tracks
