The staff of the preparatory department together with representatives of the International Department of the Stavropol State Agrarian University conducted a tour of the regional capital for foreign citizens.
The tour was attended by 19 students from Cameroon, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. International students learned about the history of the city, its geographical location, sights and interesting places. They visited the St. Prince Vladimir Square, the historical park «Russia is My History», saw the old and new city. Students have been in Russia for less than a month, so the Russian text was translated into French, English and Arabic.
— The regional aspect is an important stage in the socio—cultural adaptation of foreign students. It was very interesting and informative for everyone. But most importantly, they got to know each other better and the friendly residents of our multinational city, — said Elena Zorina, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages.
