The St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine hosted the forum «Innovative Projects in veterinary Medicine: young scientists from universities subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.»

 The round table on the introduction and commercialization of intellectual property results was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ksenia Shevelkina, Director of the Department of Scientific and Technological Policy and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Yulia Kondykova and Deputy Director of the Department of Veterinary Andrey Mukovnin. The moderator was Elena Korochkina, Professor of St. Petersburg State University of Economics, winner of the President's Prize in Science and Innovation for young Scientists.

Elena Kastarnova, Candidate of Biological Sciences, researcher at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, spoke from Stavropol State Agrarian University.

At the event, the project directions of research activities of agricultural universities, their relevance to industrial partners and the results of commercialization were discussed. On the business side, representatives of enterprises producing veterinary drugs, aquaculture products and poultry farms took part in the discussion. Young scientists from different regions of Russia presented their scientific achievements and experience in implementing advanced projects.
