A training seminar «Young university teacher» was held in Stavropol State University.

The participants were scientific and pedagogical workers starting their academic career. Professor Svetlana Tarasova and Associate Professor Evgenia Taranova helped young colleagues identify areas of personal and professional growth, form effective behavioral models of interaction with students and staff, and feel confident in their own abilities.

The Vice-Rector for Additional Education, Professor Olga Lisova, spoke about the possibilities of developing pedagogical skills for teachers. In 2024 alone, 242 university research and teaching staff completed advanced training, that is, more than 75% of their total number. The Agrokadry project, implemented by the Institute of Additional Professional Education within the framework of the Priority 2030 program, helps to ensure their professional growth. Teachers are trained at leading Russian universities, including the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the I. Kant Baltic Federal University, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Agrarian University — the K.A. Timiryazev Agricultural Academy and many other recognized centers of Russian education.
