Round table “We are against terror and extremism”

A round table “We are against terror and extremism” was held at Stavropol State Agrarian University. Students representing the multi-ethno-confessional youth environment actively participated in the discussion of issues. Positioning their active civic position, patriotic opinions were expressed in the fight against terrorism and extremism. Serious attention was paid to terrorist acts that bring massive human casualties; destroy material and spiritual values that cannot be restored; sow enmity between states and peoples; provoke wars.

Stavropol State Agrarian University entered the TOP 10% of the best universities in the world

According to the results of the Global Aggregate Ranking 2023, Stavropol State Agrarian University entered the TOP 10% of the best universities in the world. The Global Aggregate Rating (GAR) analyzes all the achievements and results of the university, the participation of the educational institution in the rankings. The GAR brought the range of ratings to a common denominator and gave an assessment of the place and role of universities in their region in the global educational processes. This is the fourth edition of the rating. It includes 13 of the most authoritative global institutional rankings and a combined database of accredited programs from European and Asian quality assurance agencies.

Students from different faculties of the university were invited to take part in the project “Contract manager. Make way for the young”. Within the framework of the project, free training of participants in the basics of legislation on the contract system, the implementation of practical tasks and business games are carried out. The project implementation period is from October 2022 to March 2023.

Three hundred students of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the All-Russian economic dictation

Traditionally, in October, in all regions of our country, the all-Russian educational campaign “All-Russian Economic Dictation” is held in offline and online formats. The topic of the Economic Dictation 2022 is “Strong Economy – Prosperous Russia!”. The dictation was organized by the Free Economic Society of Russia (VEO of Russia) with the participation of the International Union of Economists (ITU). Action partners: Yuri Luzhkov Foundation, Russian Historical Society, Moscow Aviation Institute, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and other leading universities in Russia, administrations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Ten foreigners studied Russian under the program “Talents of Russian multinational culture: composers and musicians” within the framework of a grant project

Stavropol State Agrarian University won the grant competition of the Ministry of Education of Russia for the promotion of the Russian language. 147 applications were submitted, of which only 67 organizations became winners. And for the first time, our university won. The goal of the program is to popularize the Russian language by involving foreign students in various types of communicative activities in order to acquire or consolidate existing knowledge of Russian as a foreign language while implementing various educational approaches to teaching, socializing foreign students in a foreign language environment and developing the cognitive function of the Russian language.

Awards of Stavropol State Agrarian University at the agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn – 2022”

Moscow hosted one of the main events for farmers - the Russian agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn-2022”. The participation of the delegation of Stavropol State Agrarian University was successful. The scientific developments presented by the university at the exhibition received 14 medals. Agreements were reached on conducting joint research and development work with the Innopraktika Foundation and other partners. Negotiations were held with the Ministries of Agriculture of Russia and Tatarstan on the development and implementation of scientific and technical achievements of scientists from Stavropol State Agrarian University. The report of the Stavropol scientist provoked a discussion about the necessary changes in the Russian pedigree cattle breeding.

The educational and methodological center of the company “Berta” has collected the best modern equipment for baking, with the help of which it is possible to demonstrate any technological processes of dough making and the preparation of bakery and confectionery products that meet all the standards of a high-tech process. During the training seminar, students mastered all stages of the production of bakery products using modern ingredients, unique developments of the company - a manufacturer of raw materials for the baking and confectionery industry.

On October 6, Russian specialists working in the field of insurance celebrate their professional holiday - Insurer's Day. It was on this day in 1921 that the Gosstrakh of the RSFSR began its activities. This date was adopted as the foundation day of insurance activities in Russia. Our university has already developed a good tradition to celebrate the Insurer's Day together with a long-standing strategic partner, which is the founder of the insurance business in Russia, the Rosgosstrakh company.

The international forum "The Significance of the Caucasus Battle in the Great Victory" gathered in Stavropol dozens of historians, public figures from different regions of Russia and a number of foreign countries. Researchers open unknown pages of one of the bloodiest and longest battles of the Great Patriotic War. The organizers of the forum - the government of the Stavropol Territory, the Russian Military Historical Society and Stavropol State Museum-Reserve gathered historians, social activists, deputies, students of educational institutions of the region in the regional center.

Students of the faculties of agrobiology and land resources, and ecology and landscape architecture carried out a reclamation event on the first stage of the reconstruction of the forest belts of the educational farm of Stavropol State Agrarian University. Processing was carried out as part of the project for the student competition "Your move". Opening of SSAU Entrepreneurial Boiling Point

Stavropol State Agrarian University, among 60 Russian universities, won the competition of ANO Platform NTI (in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation) for the creation of "Entrepreneurial Boiling Points" - spaces for the development of student innovative entrepreneurship. The number of winners included only three agricultural universities of the country. The goal of the New Philosophy of Entrepreneurship program is aimed at developing, popularizing and scaling technological entrepreneurship in the university environment through the formation of student entrepreneurial communities and the implementation of a new range of formats for working with university startups within the FoodNet and EduNet National Technology Initiative markets.
