Employees of the Department of State and Municipal Administration and Law of Stavropol Agrarian University have completed a professional internship to improve the interaction of regional public authorities and local self-government bodies with the population on the basis of the administration of the Shpakovsky Municipal District.
During the internship, the teachers got acquainted with the powers of local self-government bodies, mechanisms of state support, ways of interaction of civil servants with the population and regulation of economic activity of economic entities at the district level.
Also, the staff of the department conducted an analysis of legislative innovations in the field of staffing and the impact of changes on personnel policy in municipal government bodies.
— In the context of increased requirements to the competencies of the teacher, the organization of practice-oriented internships is of particular importance for more effective teaching of the material. This format makes it possible to update the content of disciplines and work programs in a timely manner, as well as to develop new methods of conducting classes with an enhanced practical orientation, said Nadezhda Miroshnichenko, Head of the Department of State and Municipal Administration.
