Labor groups are being revived in SSAU
2025/09/03

More than fifty SSAU students will undergo practical training at the enterprises of the ASB Agricultural Holding this fall.

Some of the students have already gone to the holding's farm, which is located in the Levokumsky district. The main focus of the farm is considered to be the production of high-quality wine materials for the wine industry. The range of wine materials is produced from their own grapes, which will be harvested by SSAU students.

At the facilities of ASB, members of the Agrarian specialized student group will be involved in various processes: from sowing and caring for plants to harvesting. For future agronomists and technologists, this will be an opportunity to put the knowledge gained at the university into practice and see technological processes from the inside.

In turn, the agroholding provides students with comfortable conditions for internships: it provides housing, meals, covers transportation costs, and also pays for the work of employees. In addition, the best students will have the opportunity to get a job at ASB enterprises after completing their internship.

According to the university's press service, the revival of student labor groups is an important step for the university and the region as a whole. SSAU has created all the conditions under which students can not only study, but also apply their knowledge in practice. In addition, working in labor teams will help students develop a team spirit, learn how to organize their work and solve real problems facing the agricultural sector.

— Thanks to the graduates of Stavropol State Agrarian University, we were able to equip our teams with cool managers. So, a graduate who completed his studies two years ago in the Rostov region is already working in our farm as chief agronomist,» said Viktor Bondarev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ASB Agricultural Holding.

— Taking into account the tasks set today by the Minister of Agriculture Oksana Nikolaevna Lut, Governor Vladimir Vladimirovich Vladimirov, undoubtedly, all processes at the university are built only through the prism of business — together we form high–class specialists based on the real needs of the agricultural industry, — said Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of SSAU.
