The university's management, headed by Rector Vladimir Sitnikov, discussed the results of the vacation period and identified strategic guidelines for the SSAU staff for the 2025-2026 academic year.

According to the results of the admission campaign in 2025, the student body increased by 15% compared to last year. Special attention in the new academic year is planned to be paid to the modernization of the structure of the Institute of Secondary Vocational Education.

Special attention was paid to the creation of a world-class scientific center «Agroengineering of the Future». The center will be established on the basis of the university jointly with FSUE NAMI and Don State Technical University.

With the support of the federal center and personally the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, extensive work is underway to upgrade the university's infrastructure. By the beginning of the academic year, it is planned to complete the overhaul of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management in Agriculture, and student dormitories. 

I am sure that the new academic year will be full of challenges, but the SSAU staff is ready to overcome them. Together, we will continue to develop priority areas of science and education, strengthen the professional competencies of teachers and create sought-after educational products.
