The results of the activities of the University's Veteran Organization were summed up in the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Igor Fataliev, Chairman of the Stavropol Veterans' Council, addressed the participants, praised the work of the Veterans' Council and presented letters of thanks to Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of the SSAU, for his great help in the activities of the veterans' organization and for his conscientious work in the veterans' movement to N.Z. Nikolay Guzynin, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the University's Veteran Organization, made a comprehensive report on the organization's activities for 2018-2024 in such priority areas as targeted social, charitable, psychological assistance to veterans, organization of cultural and leisure activities among veterans and civic and patriotic education among students and its tasks for 2025-2028. The discussion was attended by associate professors Vladimir Kurchev and Nina Chukhlebova.

Nikolai Guzynin focused the attention of the meeting participants on important issues: a decrease in the number of members of the university's veteran organization, the lack of activity of many veterans and their non-payment of membership fees. To increase the level of activity of the veterans' organization, he proposed such measures as the creation of a volunteer group of 12-14 students, 3-4 volunteers from each institute to provide various assistance to university veterans and the creation of two stands of labor veterans who have worked at the university for 30 years or more and have left a noticeable mark in the history of the university. On this issue, Serikov S.S. made specific proposals to improve the university's activities.

At the end of the meeting, a new Council of Veterans of the SSAU Veterans' Organization was unanimously elected.
